Kowboy and my oldest son Wes fished with me today. We started at 7:45 and quit at 3:00 p.m. We quit early since Wes had to drive home to Brunswick, Ga. tonight. The bite was on from the beginning and was steady all day. It was a beautiful day without a cloud in the sky. The water temperature was 56 degrees when we started and got up to 60 degrees. We kept 51 fine fish. The following jigs worked well today: Bobby Garland Cajun Cricket Slab Slayer and John Deere and Popsicle curly tails. Kowboy pushed out of the front and Wes long lined out of the back. We rigged several of the long lines with 1/16 doubles. The best fishing seemed to be in 20-25 FOW. Curtis if you read this I did not know you were in the boat behind us until Spiderman called me. I was going to speak to you when we turned around but we got into some fish and never turned around. It was a great day on the water. In the pictures Wes is holding the two 14 inch fish he caught and Kowboy is holding his 14 incher. I did a great job with the net and running the trolling motor.
