• Family report from the Grand

Wyatt wanted to get Mom out this morning so we put in at Bucksaw. After hearing it has been a slow bite I was a little worried about the amount of catching we would have.

Turned out to be a great morning. Started out front of Angel cove down from the marina with Wyatt pulling in the first 3 keepers. Did our best there in 4 to 10ft of water. Did catch a few out deeper but only 5ft under the surface. Headed up river and fished between Preety Bob and Sand staying close to the bank. That's where our better fish came from.

Brought home 22 using the 2.25inch Bobby Garland roly poly and bed bug baits.

No football this year. He decided to concentrate on crappie fishing and entering a few more tournaments.
We have been fishing every weekend and trying to learn more.
