• Tommy Skarlis moves from 13th to 2nd place with big stringer.

Last Saturday Tommy Skarlis and Kyle Steinfelt started the day off in 13th place. The previous day was not a good day for them. But on day two of the Crappie Masters they pulled themselves up to take 2nd place using Offshore Tackle Planer boards catching some nice slabs on the Harris Chain of Lakes in Tavares Florida.

Thanks for the kind words Jackie - most people tell us we are foolish to share tactics like that with our fellow competitors - but we fish tournaments to learn as well as educate!

Great info Tommy Skarlis and thx for sharing. Planer board trolling makes a lot of sense. Just wish tha boards didn't cost so much $$. When guys like Mr.Tommy talk best thing to do is listen.
