• Caught a few nice one's

    Had a few good fish and one unusual double. I use double jigs on some of my lines and on occasion you will hook up with two fish on. Well these two fish fooled me, I thought I had a cat fish because of the weight I was trying to reel in. When I got them to the boat it was two large crappie. One weighted 1 3/4lbs
    the other was 1 1/2 lbs.

      That makes for a nice surprise.I have had quite a few doubles in the past but never two that nice at one time.Nice pictures Nice catch

      I hate to say this these fish must have been catch last year we been on crescent lake since tuesday and no one has even seen a crappie yesterday ya we talked to Florida game warden he said he hadn't seen any fish all week we are staying at leonards. Landing

      The bite has slowed but we are still catching some fish. I fished 1/2 day on Friday and caught 14 with 2 over 2 pounds.

      I can guarantee you that these fish were caught this year. Anchor Man has these fish figured out..He didn't have his "Crappie King" hat last year when he was down at Crescent. He is Da Man.
