Slab probably hasn't thawed out yet after the run against the wind this morning, he had some fish and I never thought they would bite in water temp of 55 degrees. Can't wait to get out again but i'll be sleep in in the morning now that my fingers are moving again.
Left the house it was 43 degrees and didn't get much warmer, about like a trip to 'the chicken coop', had a little rain to make it nice (rain made the bite change) brought 10 over 10" home. got a qt. bag full of filets and wife says don't bring any more home.--shu
Slab released his and took underwater pics:
I brought 5 back. Left them in the livewell till it thawed a bit and I played with taking pics of them while releasing them. I put on my waders and went into the canal. It was cold enuf I prolly din't have to worry about gettin' eaten by the gators.
Heading out tomorrow morning here in SC. All this Artic Air has had our temperatures at nights in the teens and 20s. It'll be low 20s first light in the morning. Water temp is probably in the lower 40s now too. I'm ready for some warm weather!!!
