    Well I decided to try out Bayou Maringouin this morning at daylight. Fished there till about 2 and had 5 nice ones in the live well, but it was slow and the wind was ridiculous...So we decided to hop across the levee from Upper Grand River to Lower Grand River where we fished a little more protected till dark.

    The last couple of hours we got on a pretty good bite, which was capped off with a heck of fight from a 12 lbs silver carp that took about 10 minutes to boat on 6lbs test ultralite... That was a heck of spectacle...It was a very enjoyable day with a good friend. Thanks DA for all the help and advice, I really appreciate it!
