• Too hot to fish?

Who says. Looks like if I want to fish I'll just have to put up with the heat. Not a great day but a good day in my book. I went out to the hunting lease to catch these. The water temp was 90 degrees but we had a stiff breeze blowing out the northwest which made it bearable. Here are the pictures. We caught them on jigs with just about any color we tried and I caught 2 of the sac-au-lait on a RoadRunner with an electric chicken BG shad. We were fishing 2 foot below a bobber in 4 foot of water.

Why would anyone leave a perfectly good spinner bait hanging on a limb that was easily reached right from my bow seat. It had about 6 feet of mono on it. The reason I found it is that I through my jig to within 6 inches of the spinner bait and got hung up myself.

Great story, pictures to back it up.
Amazing that they are and can be found in very
      shallow water year round..............they are
predators - looking for food and where is best
      place to find it.
      Again thanks for your story
