Fishing the last two days in this weather has really been awesome. Yesterday we had very good luck on the little sac, but today I wanted to go fish my spots around twin bridges. Rick had some things to do this morning so we hit the water around 10:30 and fished until 1:30. We were happy to find the fish where they should be this time of year. We took limits on beds from 16-22ft. Fish quality was very good as a whole with the biggest 13.5inches. We were fishing glow chart midsouth and mikes custom jigs for the most part with a few fish taken on a rootbeer/chart mikes custom jig. It was overcast most of the time and the wind was blowing pretty good also so that kept us plenty cool. I don't remember many times fishing mid day in the middle of July and being just as comfortable as you could every want to be.
My ugly mug and a couple nice fish.
Bucket of soon to be deep fried goodness.
