I took a guided fishing trip for the first time in my life and boy was it a good one! Donny my life long fishing buddy now living in Arizona hooked up with Joe Bragg of Thump30 Guide Service on 10/9/2021 and we were on the fish almost immediately! Joe took us in his 24’ Bluewater bay boat and the 25-30mph winds were no problem. Joe has brush piles scattered all over the lake and we hit several of them only keeping 2 or 3 slabs off each pile before moving to the next one. His livescope showed hundreds of crappie at each brush pile and several big blue cats cruising them too. We fished for 4 hrs of the 5 hr trip because I had prior commitments but managed to put 75 to the knife. Joe fillets your catch and bags it too! Donny and I just sat in the 2 fishing chairs and caught fish the whole time with Joe doing all of work!
