Fished Havasu for 3 days. Heat and wind made it kinda tough while drop-shotting at 30 ft. We got a few though-

Beautiful fish! How big was your biggest out there and curious how big an average redear was?
We were just talking about going out there next spring. Curious if it's all it's "cracked" up to be. It's about 21 hrs from my house. Looks like y'all got into some biguns!

We caught 10 in 2.5 days of fishing. They were deep like 30 ft. We had hoped they would be in the reeds where you can see them but none. Mid to late may is prolly best for shallow fish but its over 100 F every day then. Biggest was 14" and weighed 2.49 lbs.
Smallest was 1.30 lbs.
Prolly try again next year. Too hot to camp so we will stay at a resort with air-conditioning and a marina to slip the boat. Windy and TONS of boat traffic. Small boats not recommended!
