Nice report...not much room between #1 & #2.
I like seeing these results, it's fun to look at. Keep up the good work and thanks!
A tough day for some folks, but the top 3 places all weighed over 5 pounds, and for those teams finding keepers wasn't the issue. Unlike past years when big whites dominated, this year there were a large number of 10-10.5" black crappie caught. However, finding anything over 11" was hard! The rain was simply not a problem, with a few showers early and then clearing to a really nice cloudy day. Kept the water fleas off the lake, and only a few water skiers came out. I love it when they believe the weatherman! Amazing how pretty that lake can be without the riff raff.
Steve Jones and Doug Dyer, both of Bellbrook, came to their first BCC tournament of the season and weighed 5.48 pounds for 1st place and $504. These guys are super tough on their home lake and they've won multiple years. Gonna have to put a GPS chip in their boat and figure out what they're doing!
Doug and Tim Allen of Hamilton took 2nd with 5.46 pounds, winning $336, while Frank Dimos of Lebanon Ohio and Bill Hora of New Paris Ohio took 3rd place with a weight of 5.14 pounds.
Paul (Muncie, Indiana) and Charlie (Gaston, Indiana) Hildreth had the big fish of the day at 1.05 pounds, winning $150.
