Yes I also have a lot of days my wife and I can and have caught 100 lbs on rod and reel. And not over a baited hole. And that is in 3 hours. My best day by my self was 0ver 300 lbs by my self in 5 hours. But they averaged 20 lbs each. And everyone of them was turned back for a later catch.:D
But for fish frys. WE have a lot of them. That is takes 75 lbs of cleaned fish to feed them. And I like trot lines for those fish frys.

We feed the fish on holes here and really bunches up the Channels . Most are just eating size up to 5 lbs. Lots of fun when the Crappie slow down. Most I ever caught one morning was 67 Catfish ,but most were released.:D

We need to put stock in Magic Bait, because it's all we use. However, sometimes we do beef blood, chicken blood, chicken liver, cheese, etc. We switch up the flavors but we stick with the Magic Bait pellets. It's worked well for us so far, but man will that stuff make your hands smell like crap!

It's put me on the couch a few times...and if I'm running lines...I ain't gettin nothin at home if you know what I mean. lol
