Youall kinda hard on the ole boy.I have caught my fair share of flathead's and they will bleed when poked in the lower jaw. They will live along time out of water also.I have a pretty good job also and I have released a few into paylake's.
All I have to say is that those are some good lookin fish, I hope they all lived, and I eat fish from the Missouri and Mississippi rivers and haven't got sick once.

man great catfish
a bad day fishing is better than a good day at school
NIMROD the pay lake guys dont care what they have on them
but the ones we put in the personal lake we pick them all off and keep them in clean water for a few days and no problems yet and hope we dont or well just drain it put the fish back in the river and start over when work is down we sell them to paylakes here we win twice we get to do what we love and make money there is no shortage of flatties around these parts except for people that just dont know what they are doing a the paylakes pay great if a person really tried and fished them 5 nights a week they could make from 300 to 600 a week woooohooo only did that 1 time but had to split it 2 ways mostly we only fish 4 night straight here every 2 weeks and a few one night stands in between lol finally good to be back on the board pics coming soon
