Hey guys are there any places to bank fish in Central OKC or surrounding areas?
Ledge,
Those look like small blues. If you are looking for the bigger ones, move. Move depths, distance from boat, and or location. Blues are very depth oriented like crappie. Most times the smaller ones are together.

Navy,
NO experience here but my cousin used to knock the channels out on Hefner, either on the dam or inlet.
when I was a kid we lived on a ranch and one of the feeds daddy would get for the cows was called cotton seed cake....he would take slab of it and saw in small squares then drill a small hole in the middle for tying onto the trotline...then he tied on a couple treble hooks to hang on either side of the cotton seed cake....we seldom had empty hooks when checking the trotlines, and very seldom were the catfish small...it took a lot to feed the nine of us so a couple runs of the trotline helped fill the freezer (I liked to bass fish and bluegill fish so we always had fish in our freezer---wish I could say the same for now...I am having little to no luck at all with any kind of fishing...but I keep trying, and I try every thing I can think of--old ways, new ways, and ways I make up myself)

Just gotta keep at it. Sometimes them ole fishies surprise ya!
Went to Kaw 5/17-18, and set a few jugs. Run them twice, and pulled them. Cleaned about 50 blues between 4 lb and 12, with one around 20.
GOOD Job Ash. Prepared or live bait? Going to crappie camp with some doughballs to do a little late evening slip corking. Got 10 # of wheat souring right now. I need to get Bobo to go out about 35-40 yards and chum me up a hole and mark it so I can heave out there when it gets dark. I'll be yankin from the bank. Life don't get no better than crappie fishin by day, huntin kitties at night!
