    Default Rocks in Catfish stomachs?


    I caught some Catfish on a rock/ gravel bank yesterday. They had skinned spots on them and rocks about thumb size in their stomachs. My guess is they are making nests preparing to spawn.

    maybe they picked them up while feeding on a mussel bed? were they blue cats?

    No they were Channel Catfish bunched up on a rock / gravel hump spawning. No mussels in them.
