well, bama, you aughta have warm enough water temps for some action from some blues or channels. I dont jug much, but I do a lot of drift fishing and that really heats up here on the lower missouri river when she hits about 50 or so. just start with some smaller baits and look for slower current if your fishing a river. if your in a lake, then first find the shad. I'd start on the flats with the warmest water you can find, usually a southern facing flat, and then set up where the wind is pushing your jugs from deeper water towards shallower water. or so the wind pushes the jugs parallel with the depth changes. also fish anywhere you find water running into the lake, like the mouths of runoff ditches or small creeks. good luck!
