    Default Redneck Catfish Soap Bait


    Has anyone tried this with any luck...I bought a bar last summer gave it a try on Rod & Reel.Did not get a bite but fishing was slow the day i tried it.

    Have not tried it but we used to use P&G soap for commercial fishing years ago and it worked. But soap baits have to soak to work right. Better on trot lines or jugs.

    Ivory works! It's quite challenging to get it to stay on the hook to say the least. Maybe put it in pantyhose like you would stinkbait? I have better luck on shad, bluegill, hotdogs, and shrimp tho.

    Seen it work but had no luck with it myself. Caught cats on all kinds of bait and can think of to many better choices. I'm sure at the right time and the right place it would work great, but that day i'll have liver. never fails
