Default Using ivory soap for bait

I have heard of using many things for bait but this was a new one for even me. I am curious if any one has ever used it ? The video shows how to make it with scent.

Whether it works or not ... it's probably not a good idea to use it. It's really only animal & vegetable fats, water, and some other minor ingredients. With that in mind ... why not trim the fat off of any meats you buy ... freeze it ... and use that ?? You'll be doing yourself a healthy favor, and you'll probably catch just as many catfish, if not more.

Used it as a kid back in Oklahoma on trot lines for cat fish. Worked as good as some of the other baits and some times better.
