    Default Catfish on artifcial baits

Over the years I've caught Catfish on Spinnerbaits, crank baits, Plastic worms, and Jig-n-frog while Bass fishing. Not unusual to catch them Crappie fishing either. I lost count on the Channels that I caught on a tube jig this summer. I had lots break my 8 lb line on my 12' Buck's jig pole. Saturday I landed my 3rd Flathead of the year Crappie fishing, it was about 6 lbs.
Do you catch many whiskers on artifical baits ?

We catch them all the time while fishing for crappie. The last three times out I had to land three by hand since they wouldn't fit in my crappie net and I forgot the throw the large net in the boat. It's harder than you would think using a 14' pole and being by yourself with a 10 pound cat.
The large net is now staying in the boat...LOL!

Yep, have caught a good many channels throughout this year longlining. Usually just one or two every now and then though.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
