    im not into catfishing but i did a show over the weekend with one of my sponsors and everyone that was buying catfish gear was buying Surge rods and finor reels....are they worth the money? i know the rod demo i seen with the surge rod blew my mind but didnt stick around long nuff to hear about the reel

    I can't be much help, I have never heard of either, I must be out of the loop. I use BPS musky rods, and some Garcia Ambassidor reels I've had for years. Works great for me!

    i know the rod was 79.99 and the reel was 249.99....they use them down in the miss river for the big blue cats....to much for me to spend...i just wanted to see if they was worth the money

    The new Fin-Nors are crap! Much better off with something else, even at half the price.

    Personally I would rather spend the 249.99 on the rod and 79.99 on the reel
