Question: Where did you get the green film?
That looks pretty useful.
I've got a set of those lights, and they ARE bright. I have them mounted in a couple of key locations, and they really do a good job when you really want to light things up.
Besides the bigger lights, I also bought a set of little stick-on "flat" lights, and they put out an impressive amount of light for their size and wattage. There are several brands that look exactly the same. Some are 300 lumens, some are 500, some are 600. With the 500 lumen model, you get 6 of them for less than $9 shipped, and they use 8 watts each:

So you get 3,000 lumens of light for $9, and because it is broken up into 6 lights, they are pretty handy to have around, both inside the boat, and for lighting up the water. I have some inside storage areas (facing away from you eyes!) and I have some facing the water, and the result is a really big, even spread of light, and they are almost invisible. I have them on a dash switch, and I just hit the switch, and using less than 50W, I don't have to worry about the battery being drained.
They have lasted a year or two so far. One went bad, started losing diodes, and I swapped it out. One trick I saw was to use a dab of silicone (or E6000 preferrably) at the end where the wire connects, to make sure salt water doesn't get in.
In the end, I use these flat lights way more than I use the big lights, so I figured it would be worth sharing.
