Default My boat rigging (pic Heavy)

I got a used Xpress 1756 about a year ago. It's got a 90 Johnson on it, I use it for fishing and duck hunting. I had to do quite a bit of work to modify it to suit my needs. The guy I bought it from had built raised decks in it so it was more like a bass boat. I didn't like this as it didn't leave a lot of room for duck hunting. I took out the front and side deck and it really opened it up. So far it's been perfect for what I need. Name: image8.jpg

After I got the decks out I cut in some hatches on the front deck for storage and batteries, upgraded the ugly green carpet to some Hydro turf and installed a bench seat that sits up higher so I can see better. I also got new a trolling motor, and New HB helix 5 si gps. Got my Driftmasters on the front and ready to go. The boat came with the duck blind which was nice. Name: image6 (2).JPG

Nice pictures, nice boat. That was a lot of work but looks like it was well worth it. That picture of the little one driving is great.

I'm liking this a lot. Good job on multi-purpose rigging.

isn't that motor way to big for it by the horsepower rating?

Not at all Max hp rating is for 90 hp. It's pretty good little motor starts good and not to bad on fuel. I can get about 39 mph at wot which is plenty fast for me.
Smile, it kills time between disasters!
