Nice looking rod
I have been using this Falcon Bucoo (6ft.) spinning rod lately and it has become a favorite. This rod being $50 is super affordable too.
Nice looking rod

If we're talking strictly casting purposes .... I'm quite fond of my ESP PowerLite 6'6" rod.

I've been looking at getting a Sam's super sensitive. I really like all of my BnM rods.
There is no "fixed reel seat" .... it's a Tennessee Style handle with "rings" to hold the reel onto the handle. I've had several different reels on it, but currently have a Mitchell 308x on it. The 308x weighs about 8.6oz and makes the outfit a bit on the handle heavy side, but that probably could be negated a bit by moving the reel forward a bit. It doesn't bother me that it's handle end heavy, so I use it "as is".
The "rings" work, but they are subject to slipping off the reel foot (especially reels with a thick reel foot). This can be taken care of by electrical tape, which I have used with previous reels I've had on the rod ... like when I had a Okuma STX20 on it.
The end guides and tip are "micro guides" ... so it's not user friendly to "bobber stops" or even line connecting knots. (FYI)
*disclaimer : this rod was given to me for "field testing" by the designer (now VP of Marketing at Norsemen Outdoors). I did not purchase the rod, and have no obligations to him or the marketing company (then or now). I recommend this rod only from my experiences with using it.
Tug Love thanked you for this post
I use to have a couple with tennessee rings. Once I found the position and reel I like for them I thought about using heat shrink on them. But I had too many rolls of electrical tape laying around.
Of all my rods, I would have to say My TCB I won in the contest thread. Paired with a President reel, It's a great set up.
