Standard unless it is an AGM ( glass mat) or gel. The battery will identify as such. Most likely a lead acid standard battery.
I have a Napa Marine/RV battery and I noticed my new Schumaker charger has 3-4 settings
Standard, AGM, Gel..Which setting do I use when charging?
Thanks!

Do most of you keep your battery charger plugged in at all times? If you have your boat stored off site, how do you handle keeping batteries charged
If you have a good quality charger it shouldn’t be a problem leaving them hooked up all the time. I hardly ever take mine off charge.
I know this is late but currently mine is off site until next month. I just take it home the night before and let it trickle charge over night. Go fish and bring home. Let trickle charge and once full I disconnect the accessories and leave only main battery connected

I would keep battery inside your garage at home if possiable . Keep on trickle charge as much as you can . Freezing weather is hard on battery if it goes down . Very important to keep water level up and only use distilled water.

Mine is on site. I use 10 amp per bank chargers. I don’t think a trickle will give you full charge.
