The basic shape is long and thin, but wagglers are not all the same:

They are attached at the bottom only. In this country, the Thill waggler is about the only one you'll find:

Yeah, that's why I started making floats. Here's an example of a different sort of waggler, what I call a mid-bodied waggler. Casts like an arrow, but only uses half the cocking weight of a traditional waggler of the same size.

Im sure he waggler serves a purpose and dont doubt its a good float, I'm just suggesting to those who fish a float as much as I do that the Rocket Bobber is a very good option in certain situations . If you are looking for a float you can cast out of sight, using 1/32nd oz jig, and a float that gives you the notice of the slightest bite, then at least give it a try, I think you will be surprised as I was. I have many different styles of floats in my bag but when going long distance with lite jig I use the rocket .
