    All of my crappie baits are about 2", but I never liked tubes. I think they're better suited for vertical jigging, and I rarely do that. I'm a caster, and I think other baits are better for that.

    Maybe too small, yes. We ice fish with the 2" tube.. In the summer I'll drop shot with 4" bass tubes.

    I have ordered some 2" tube jig online. I will be using those this coming Fall season. Temperature is now hi 90's every day, I sure will head back to fish one temperature goes down a bit.

    That is about as small as I go here and often bigger . You need to see what they actually eat and you decide how big is too big .

    The 2 inch tube is probably the most used bait for crappie. You are doing well...
