Default what type of rod for froggin'?

I'll be trying out the Stanley Ribbits this year for bass, running them along the top of the water. Now I have a baitcasting reel and a spinner reel, but what i want to know is what kind of rod would work best throwing into light and moderate cover.

To get a better look at the kind of cover I am talking about...

I use a Pfleuger president for most of my bassin, the Stanley ribbit frogs are awesome. Cast out, start reeling the second it hits the water with your rod tip high, this keeps the frog on top, almost like a buzz bait, reel semi fast, get ready for a hit, they are just as productive as any top water bait out there

Picked up a 7' Shimano Sellus MH Fast. Hope it works out this spring. Thanks for the input.
