I thought all fishing after 65 was free (with the exception of trout). Trotlining is a form of fishing legally, so I would think it is ok, too. The only exception to that might be for a commercial fisherman
Was telling my friend that now all I need for fishing licenses was my drivers license or picture ID.... he said except or trout, I agreed, and for setting and running Trot Lines, Never heard of that one... and can't find anything in the book,,,,, any help please

Every state is different. Tennessee is a one time fee that use to be free.

I would check with your local agent but the agent I talked to said that you can run a trot line using just your drivers license or picture ID once you've turned 65.
