    Default Mccredie Farm lake


    Was wondering what the crappie fishing was like there it says it has a good population and a 30 limit per day. Anyone have onay info if its just a lot of small fish in there??

    I can try and find out for you tomorrow. A lot of time a 30 daily limit with no length limit means the biologist wants high harvest due to stunting. However with crappie in a small lake a biologist should always want a high harvest regardless of the condition of the population. I'll check with the biologist in charge of the lake and post an answer tomorrow.

    McCredie Lake has a moderate to low density population. If you find them though the size is good with most fish over 10 inches. Good luck.
