I have a nice spring feed pond I own and have fished this pond for decades. Originally was told there were no crappie. However, Over the years I have caught 4 crappie and they were monsters. One was 18.5 inches long, there others were 14-15 inches. (Caught big guy with a 10 inch worm on a texas rig fishing for bass.)
pole and has lots of bass and bluegill, has a history of channel Fish, but I think they're all gone now.

Anyone, have an experience with a pond with having- rare but Large -crappie. It goes against everything you read that crappie will over take a small pond.

Thanks for the input.
