The KMZ file is a data file designed to work with Google Earth. You must have Google Earth installed on the device on which you are trying to open the KMZ file. If you don't have Google Earth available then the KMZ is not useful.

Currently, this is the only format that I know of that contains statewide coordinates for the cubes and historical brush piles.

Appreciate the gps info. I have looked for these at El Dorado and butler SFL and only found one at El Dorado. Didn't spend a lot of time looking but wanted to know if anyone else has had luck finding any?
Also as a FYI on the KMZ or KML files can be opened by many GPS apps for tablets and phones. Some are free.
