Chatt, buddy, I know it sucks when fish go bye-bye. It's been that out here since I was a kid for both walleye's and crappie. But what makes it so good is just getting started again. The beavers piles along the banks are quite elongated now, they just keep building to stay at the waters edge. Then, there's the trees coming in at conservation pool level. The ground is going fallow, re-energizing for the next go around, it's inevitable. The last time Glen was full prior to this last go around was from a 10" downpour that inundated Portis, KS. Then the lake was 5'-6' low for 10 years and at some points reached 10' in this same time period.

Scott, the man has done an outstanding job. From a Parks mgmt view I'm sure it was dream and nightmare. His work on fish attractors more than carried an economic burst in an bankrupt environment. All those local businesses are a tribute to your hard work. People wouldn't keep coming and staying if the fishing wasn't good, remember that. You are the one whose work has carried many new economic developments in that area, PROUD would be an understatement.
