Three KDWPT Fisheries Biologists retired on September 16, 2011. Their combined years of experience was 108 years. These guys worked hard for many years to improve fishing access and fish population quality in Kansas. Tommie Berger (38 years of service) retired as the Wilson Reservoir fish bio. Leonard Jirak (38 years of service) retired as the Melvern Reservoir fish bio. Steve Price (32 years of service) retired as the REG1&3 Fisheries Supervisor.
