Looks like it's going to be raining but at least they took the 18 mph wind out of the forecast.
Volunteers needed for the 8th Annual FISH Day (Friends Improving Smithville Habitat) at Smithville Lake. March 28th ,2019. We will be focusing on the Main Lake behind the Litton Center this year from 9 am until we run out of trees. Registration begins at 9 am at the Jerry Litton Center. We will have 4 habitat barges installing huge hardwood brushpiles in the lake. Bring a pair of gloves and a strong back! Last year we were able to put in over 75 brush piles in 1 day!
Please contact me and let me know if you are interested in helping out.

Turned out to be a nice morning and work was mostly completed before the rain came. Congratulations to the organizers for a well throughout work flow and a productive day.
