I shot Mike Bayless a PM about Truman and he said they would crappie sampling around mid October
and would be giving us a post on the crappie spawn after some preliminary samples.
Sure is great to have him and the others on here.

Absolutely great to have them, and no worries about hijacking, either. Just thought it would get their attention better as a new thread with a new title since this one has been posted for some time. I'm looking forward to hearing how the sampling goes because it seemed like the spawn never really got into full swing this year.

I will be trap netting crappie at Smithville in mid to late October. I too will let everyone know what we find as far as numbers and size structure. Hopefully it will be good news..
