    Default Brewer Lake 5-21

I went to Brewer yesterday. I caught over 50 fish on a single pole but they were running small. I kept 14 nice fish 12"-15" and threw back the rest that were between 7"-9". Unlike the ones i caught earlier in the week at Greer's these were all fat and in good shape. All came off of brush piles on minnow and slip bobber. It was a fun day with very few people out on the water. I took pictures but when I went to download them nothing showed up. My only guess is that when I had to change batteries on the camera it lost the pics.

Thanks for the report...and attempt for pics.:D I'm pretty ticked off that I'm leaving central AR without ever venturing up that way to try Brewer. And I know why those Greers fish are so skinny...they can't get fat on bandits!!!

You should give it a try....They should be in the brush piles until the water warms enough to send them to the deep water. I didn't really get into the slabs yesterday but their there and should get better over the next couple weeks. Let me know if i can help you any.

lol on the Bandits:D.....you missed a real pretty little lake that I think you could of had some fun times on, but with your success on Conway I can see why it was hard for you to get away from there.

    C&B,

Good that you had a great day of fishin'! I'm gonna have one of those some day...and I can't wait for the water to recede so I can get to my tops.
