thanks LAstumpjumper. I also have enjoyed you're post of recent trips to moore's bayou and the bar pits. I see you like to fish morgan point and that is one of my favorite spots in the spring.
Maybe one of these days i will get a digital camera and i can get my wife to post the pics on here cause god knows i cant do it.

Not a crappie, but still a good sized fish. Caught on a private pond in Ouachita County.
Here's a few more pictures from my favorite fishin hole. I hope to make a Crappie slide show real soon.
Awesome fish ! !
I've been browsing all the southern state forums, I do believe you guys have the best pics/fish ! !
"Teach a man to fish = he can feed himself "
"Teach the world to fish = you won't have any fish left to eat "
Here is pictures of the crappie we caught 1st of October 2010.
This is my livewell. Of course there is more in mine. Bigger too.:p
This is my husband's livewell. OK so he almost has many as I did.
I thought it was 3pounder no problem but only 2lb 12oz and 15 1/4" long does anyone know an approximate length it takes for a three pound crappie?
This chart is pretty accurate, my 3lb. 5oz. black crappie was 17in.
