Most lakes don't have a problem with numbers as Crappie are so prolific except for a few small lakes . Just a few years ago the bulk of fishermen hours spent chasing Crappie was during that time frame . But some lakes are getting hammered all year long now . Doubt you could get AGFC or fishermen to even consider anything like that . Doubt most fishermen or AGFC will want to do anything till some lakes are so bad fish get tough to find . With all the pressure and high end electronics fish are getting hammered more than ever. Even the best lakes it takes at least 2 years to grow what most call a keeper of 10''.
