There was a fish n camp about 15 years ago put on by a guide the weekend before Halloween. I trolled and caught nothing. Members that caught fish were on habitat.
Our group tries to fish some new water every year and this trip is Greeson. We know zero about it. Any help would be appreciated. We're mostly trollers, so is it a good trolling lake, or is it mostly structure fishing-live scoping? Thanks.

Personally I’ve never fished there but years ago I went with friends to water ski. It was wall to wall ski boats and jet skis then.
It’s probably one of those lakes that’s good in early morning or in winter when it’s too cold for most to ski
I’ve heard of big stripers caught trolling

Clear water, currently low. Brush piles all over. Pleasure boaters gone for most part - locals will be out. Beautiful scenery no matter.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to learning some new water. Hopefully we can scare up a few fish.
That lake has more brush piles marked than any lake I've ever seen. You can check the internet for the BP locations. I've never fished it but it's on my list for the upcoming year.

Did you go already? How was it? I was there in the spring and met a guy trolling crankbaits with planer boards. He did much better than us fishing shallow. Action fishing trips has been giving reports on fishing Arkansas radio program lately. You can re watch on Facebook 103.7 the buzz
We had a good trip. Caught quite a few fish pulling cranks and planer boards. Good fish on average. Pretty lake.
