yes. they live on it. They seem to find plenty of places though.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

Draining the lake to built a new spillover type damn, remove years of built up silt, recut the boat lanes and plant new Cypress trees, as well as clean up old docks, etc. The draw dowm is expected to last 5 years and then 3-4 more years to restock and get fish to respectable size.

Not sure about removing any silt . They seem to think it will compact if left dry awhile .

Last draw down Adams Lake was one of the last pockets. To say fishing was incredible is an understatement. You could cast over where a boat had trolled through and get a nice crappie. If he came off just keep reeling. Most of the time you would get another bite. Lose it just keep reeling. You would get another one. If you can get a boat in it should be amazing. Kinda like fish in a barrel.

Really not many boats there best I remember . You had to put flatbottoms in by hand . I never saw many Crappie caught the day I was there .
