Water Temp 95 degrees in the afternoon. I can see the crappie on brush 18' but can't get a bite. Any clues on getting bit?

    Thanks Red

That's a good suggestion, but I believe the crappie eat everyday...maybe at night. I'm not looking for spots(brush piles) just looking for depth and type of bait.

No doubt, they still eat. But not as much or as often. I agree with Oct

Well "calf rope"! One more brim today. I can see them coming up to the jig on the live scope and nothing... Oh well. I'll try Millwood next month.

I can't say for sure, but if you're new to live scope, then you may be doing what I did for way too long. And that is the fish you're seeing are small fish. If they appear only slightly bigger than your jig or minnow then you may see plenty of fish but they won't bite. They're to small to mess with anyway.
