Very nice. We had our first homegrown tomato last night on BLTs for supper.
Garden is putting out plenty this season . We have Potatoes, Squash, Okra, and plenty of Tomatoes. Weighed one today that was 1.23 lbs . Should have Purple Hull Peas soon. I think neighbors like these better than the Crappie I share with them .

I’m still waiting on a vine ripened Cherokee purple tomato. Should be any time now. Those are my favorites.

I gave up on tomatoes this year. The deer will have to find something else to eat

I try to share with my neighbors . If I find out older folks , older than me, could use my extra produce or fish I try to share. Had to make a run to Conway Academy sports to pick up a package today . Had one friend meet me at Atkins to pick up Squash, Okra and Tomatoes. Then had an older couple meet me at the store to pick up several vacuum sealed frozen packs of Crappie fillets. They are in-laws of a good friend, they can't fish anymore. The man told me he was 90 and grinned like I gave him bags of gold. Before I could leave his wife gave me a bag of shelled Pecans. Remember our old folks because we may be in the same shape one day.
