Took a short road trip this morning . Stopped for breakfast and got after them. A friend said the fish had left where I took him last week . I found plenty till wind got up . Pitched 1/8 th Takeum Hand tied jig in 10 to 14' water. Still using the Stryker jig pole by Huckabee rods . Sure nice using a super light jig pole with my Carpel Tunnel. Boat flipped 63 and kept a limit. Good to hit the water before the Memorial Day crowds invades the lakes . Caught one with a bad dip in it's back, wonder if an old injury or birth defect ?
