I haven't been on Crappie.com in a few years. I hope it's still a good place to find some info. I plan to do some kayak fishing in the Gold Creek area on Lake Conway in late March or early April. I checked the Conway forum and didn't see very many current threads but I assume there are still some crappie.com folks fishing there. I've caught a few crappie on Lake Greeson over the years but never fished Conway. I've driven over Gold Creek on I-40 dozens of times and always thought it looked like a good place to catch some crappie in the shallows. Any suggestions? I'm hoping to find them spawning and hoping someone here can give me their best guess as to the best timing for that. Jig size and color might be helpful as well. I don't plan to use live bait.
