My wife gave me three hours to go fish before having to head down to Redfield, Arkansas to see her family... She said be back home by noon... Dumped the boat in the water a little after 7 and got set up minnow rigging by about 7:30, with a limit by 9:45. Started out steady until I moved over closer to the creek channel. That’s where it got fast and furious... Caught most of them in 12-10 fow racking the bottom with minnows, Pico’s chartreuse Scope eye jig head with pink/white and yellow/white tube... WT was 39-41 degrees... Water clarity pea green, Lake elevation was 1118.2...
Method was slow vertical trolling 1/2oz minnow rigs at .2-.3 mph with 16ft BnM BGJP’s.
Got off the water by 10:30 and dropped the fish off at a buddies house for his family and back to the house by noon!
