Good going. I can't stand the heat but my wife can and that leads to arguments between us on when to quit.
Talked to a fishermen who says they won't bite jigs ,said could not find any minnows . His buddy had told him they would not bite jigs . Guess someone forgot to tell the Crappie . Used Huckabee 13' Trident jig pole and Southern Pro Umbrella tubes (utc11) purple/chartreuse. Limited out in 3 hours today . Really wanted to stay and cull but with forecast 100 degrees left before it got hot .
Good going. I can't stand the heat but my wife can and that leads to arguments between us on when to quit.

Not a bad catch for this time of year on Lake Nimrod! If Jerry at Andrew's Bait and More happens to be closed or out of minnows you can travel 8 more miles to Ola and get minnows at Silver's gas station. Please stop at Andrews first if possible and support our local bait shop.
CATCH A BIG-UNBillbob thanked you for this post
Dardanelle don't have many places to buy bait either. Better buy your bait on way to lakes if you use it . Local bait stores not dependable to have bait all the time.
That’s the best thing about crappie,,,,minnows not needed,,,,great catch C.A.
Nice mess
