Nimrod,,,using SolarEz now to coat jigs to prevent from unraveling and from chipping after a few whacks against those docks,,, stuff is awesome,,, just put a coat on and use a UV light to harden,,,, crystal clear and almost soft to a touch to prevent chipping,,, my mentor, my friend Big Ken Jigs teaches his tricks to anyone interested,,,,great guy…

I livescope open water so heads never hit anything but the boat once in awhile . Soft body material comes unwrapped on all handties sooner or later . Wonder if applying epoxy glue to body of jig just before final wrap to securely hold it on for good would work ?

I usually lose my jigs to structure before it ever comes apart or starts looking bad.

We used to fish structure most of the time till livescope . Spend many days sniping the bigger untouched slabs out in the open . Gotten so popular even those are being beat to death on some lakes already .
