Default What you do with high water and sweltering heat ?

Been running limblines and catching bait out of creek running into the river . Been miserably hot and humid . Cleaned lots of Catfish for the freezer last 5 days . Last two days a good friend came down to help . Water started dropping and water quality was getting bad . Lost some that died on lines each day but still kept some good messes of Catfish . Enjoyed some good food . . This getting older sure makes fishing tougher . Worn out after this week of fishing .

Nice catch of cats. This heat will wear one down for sure. Be safe out there.

Throwing the jugs out at night can be a blast for putting some cats in the freezer and staying cooler . Put some reflectors on the noodles and hand some youngins a flashlights and let the fun begin

I’m considering trying the night fishing.
I did a short experiment last month with my new green submersible LED light. The bait fish showed up in one hour. And no bugs.
I didn’t have time to stay and fish.
Do you ever crappie fish at night Nimrod?
