    Default Lake ouachita

Just getting into crappie fishin. Looking for someone maybe on ouachita that wouldn't mind getting together and showing me some stuff. Not looking for your crappie beds or anything but how to catch them and how to use livescope. I can't seem to do it on my own. I've tried reading and watching videos but seems I catch on better while actually doing it. Thanks in advance

Not best lake to “get into” crappie fishing unfortunately. Don’t see much single pole scoping or spider rigging. Mark piles, back off and cast. I ran into Huckabee after he spent day filming there and he said if he lived in area he’d plan on driving 2 hrs to Milwood lol.

I live 1hr from Millwood and never go there. I figger Ouachita is a lot like Greeson. If a lil closer I’d like to give Ouachita a go round

Lots of guys hire a guide for couple of days to setup and learn livescope. Many of them I've heard say it was money well spent.
