    Default How cold is too cold to fish ?


    Man it was cold today . Water temps started out in 30's but came up to low 40's . Air temp was 24 degrees early . Swang them as usual with Huckabee Trident 13' jig pole rigged with 1/4 oz jighead and 2.5'' Southern Pro Little Hustler tubes . Caught 72 and took home a limit .

    Wow !
    Swinging em in like that will keep your mind off how cold it is until the trip home . I’ll go when it’s 25° or above as long as the wind isn’t blowing much and if the fish are biting good. if not I stay home by the fire !

    When the water is to hard for the the boat to break thru, then it is to cold to fish.
